We Want You to Feel Better
We went into medicine for one reason. We wanted to help people feel better. That is the heartbeat of this practice and it is what keeps us going. It is why we gave up decades to school, and more weekends and holidays than we can count, learning how to do it well.
What we learned along the way turned out to be simple. People start feeling better once they are heard, once they feel accepted, and once they experience compassionate care. That is the heart and soul of what we do.
Being a member of Vancouver Direct Primary Care in Portland means having a provider who cares about helping you feel better. Being there for our patients is the part we enjoy most, and the practice is built to deliver on it. We work hard to make sure you get high quality care at our medical clinic, that you are listened to, and that the care you experience is compassionate.

What to expect after enrolling:
1. We want to help however we can. Your first appointment is a thorough medical evaluation, and we set aside 60-90 minutes for it. We go through your past medical history, surgical history, medications, family history, allergies, current medical issues, and whatever else comes up.
2. We will look over your most recent lab work. Prescribing medications and treatment plans safely matters enormously, so depending on your history we may need to repeat some labs. If you have insurance, we can use it. If you do not, a typical lab panel runs around $60. That figure can climb if several medical issues need a closer look. We will do our best to keep costs down and work within your budget.
3. Then the plan goes into action. We watch closely for treatment side effects, follow up on notes from specialists, and review any imaging studies.
4. Building out your treatment plan may take a few follow-up appointments.
5. When a new medical concern comes up, we get you in and make sure it is addressed.
