What That Looks Like in Real Life

It is Tuesday morning and something feels off. Not emergency-room off, but enough that it has been nagging at you since yesterday and you cannot tell whether to wait it out or act on it. Under the traditional model your choices are thin. Call the doctor’s office and hope someone calls back. Sit in urgent care for two hours. Or talk yourself out of it and hope it passes. As a VDPC member you just message Ed. By midday you have an appointment within 2–4 business days. You go in, you get a real answer, and you walk out with a clear plan instead of a referral to a stranger and a follow-up six weeks later. That is what direct access looks like when it is real.

Be Heard.

This is more than a slogan. The clinic is built so you know your medical needs matter to us and that we are here for you.

Feel Accepted.

Care here comes without judgment. We want you to get the right healthcare, meeting you where you are and helping you get better.

Experience Care.

We want you to enjoy your life and to get compassionate care for whatever you need. At VDPC in Portland, care is kind and thoughtful.

Ready for Care That Feels Compassionate?

Meet Ed

Hi, I’m Ed, founder and Primary Medical Care Provider at VDPC.

I went into medicine to help people feel better. That is the heartbeat of VDPC. After more than 10 years in the medical field, I had grown tired of watching care that failed to value each individual patient.

That is why I started Vancouver Direct Primary Care, and with modern technology behind it, we know our method delivers the best care on your terms.

We know that by partnering with our patients we can build a wellness plan that actually makes a difference and lines up with what you value. Join VDPC in Portland and gain an advocate for your health.

Still Have Questions? We have answers.

How It Works, One Step at a Time

1. You enroll online

Getting started takes roughly five minutes. You sign up through our online enrollment portal, pick your membership, and give us some basic information. No referral, no prior authorization, no insurance approval. If questions come up before you commit, call or message us first.

2. Your intake visit

Your first appointment runs a full 60 minutes. It is not a rushed intake form, it is a real conversation. Ed will take the time to learn your health history, what is concerning you now, what your goals are, and anything you have been putting off or feeling unsure about. You leave with a plan and a provider who knows who you are.

3. Direct access, starting immediately

From your first day as a member you have Ed’s direct contact. Send a message, request an appointment within 2–4 business days, or jump on a quick phone or video call, all without a scheduling system that pushes you out three weeks. Most questions do not need an in-person visit. Most in-person visits do not need a two-week wait.

4. Your membership, month to month

Your membership renews every month at a flat rate. No per-visit fees, no copays, no bills turning up weeks later. If your needs change we can talk through what makes sense. If you ever want to cancel, one message does it, no questions asked. This should feel like something you want to keep, not a contract you are stuck in.

If you are ready to find out what primary care is supposed to feel like, the first step is easy.
